A rocky, terrestrial planet located within the Sol System within the Milky Way Galaxy. It has a solid and tectonically active surface with numerous mountain ranges, canyons, plains, and much more. What makes Earth unique is that most of its surface is covered in water, at roughly seventy percent. Earth’s landmasses are primarily divided into seven major continents, though numerous islands, archipelagos, etc. dot the surface.
Earth makes one revolution, or one complete orbit around the Sun, in about 365.25 days. Its rotation period, or length of a sidereal day is twenty-three hours, fifty-six minutes, and four seconds. The atmospheric makeup consists of seventy-eight percent molecular nitrogen, twenty-one percent molecular oxygen, 0.93 percent argon, 0.0395 percent carbon dioxide, and roughly one percent water. Earth has an extensive biosphere with thousands of different flora and fauna species and numerous biomes. Earth has one celestial satellite, the Moon or Luna.
After the Adra invasion, Earth has sustained significant damage to its sphere systems, litho-, hydro-, atmo-, and bio-, causing untold damage and loss of life. Much of southern and central South America, the Middle East, central and northwestern Africa, and eastern Russia have been rendered nearly uninhabitable. As a result much of humanity resides in North America, northern Africa, central and eastern Asia, and Europe.
Tobradus
The home world of the Totek, Tobradus is a terrestrial world in a densely populated solar system with fourteen other worlds. Its gravity is roughly equivalent or lighter than that of Earth’s. A single day lasts 31.66 hours and a year lasts 321 days. The planet is made up of one large supercontinent, which makes up 73% of the planet’s surface area.
Four moons orbit the planet and Tobradus orbits a white sun in an elliptic orbit. One moon, named Sanater 6, has massive deposits of uranium on it, making it a highly sought-after destination and military target. Mining has taken place here for centuries and has served to supply the Totek and their Adra masters. The plant life on this planet is almost entirely made up of grasses and bushes. Their shapes and colors are spectacular., They are said to appear like waving blades of gold and silver. Other small flowers and fungi manage to grow here too but are rarities. Trees are non-existent. The fauna of the world is rather unique as well, as most have golden accents that line their bodies. Human biologists and researchers are still trying to understand how so much of the planet’s lifeforms display such extravagant features and some propose that the Adra genetically modified the world’s lifeforms to serve a more opulent purpose.
Adranix
The whole reason the galaxy is in such peril and chaos. The home world of the Adra. The intel on the planet is limited, but new information is being discovered virtually every day.
Adranix is an Earth-like world with a slightly lower gravity which afforded the Adra their distinct height. A single day lasts 35.77 hours and a year lasts 116 days. The planet’s land mass and/or ocean coverage remains unknown to humanity. No known moons or satellites orbit the planet. In fact, the Adranix planet orbits Earth’s sun on an elongated orbit. Outside of these basic facts little is known of their world. The pure white color of the planet makes it difficult to distinguish clouds or bodies of water. Any human probes dispatched to gather intelligence on the planet have swiftly been destroyed, long before reaching an optimum range of surveillance. The world’s landmass is believed to be entirely covered by Adra made constructs and structures, from temples to training grounds, to elaborate weapons factories
Gropal
Gropal is a terrestrial planet in a densely populated solar system with fifteen other planets. A single day lasts 27.94 hours and a year lasts 235 days. The planet is made up of one continent, which makes up 85% of the planet’s landmass. Five moons orbit the planet and Gropal itself orbits a white sun in a wide, elliptic orbit
The planet is made up of one continent, which makes up 85% of the planet’s landmass.
Trees are abundant only on the central most continent. Attracting animals to help with pollination is very different then Earth. The plants use sounds produced by the wind blowing between specialized openings leading to a magnificent natural orchestra of sounds. These sounds reverberate throughout their field to attract animals to pollinate. The wonders of the surface are also seen underwater. A huge variety of corals and aquatic plants have made their home in the waters of this planet. This world has few predators, but they still serve to maintain the abundant herbivore populations. Most animal species on this world have distinct markings and vibrant fur colors that match the vibrancy of the flora.
Besaria
The Besarians come from the planet Besaria located in the Leo Minor Constellation. In their home system, there are nine other planets, most of which have established orbital systems or research colonies, but little more than that. Besaria is slightly larger than Earth but less dense, resulting in a lower gravitational pull. This defining aspect is what has led to the Besarians’ unique structure, especially the irthin legs. The days last roughly 14.5 hours, and the year consists of 489 days. The planet itself has twelve major continents that make up approximately 73% of the landmass.
Only one moon orbits Besaria, which holds advanced megastructures used to construct the Besarians’ fleets. Besaria orbits the blue star, Isear, in an elliptical orbit.
On the planet’s surface, one can find strange and exotic flora and fauna. Most of the planet is covered in blue shrubs, grasses, and small trees. Taller trees constitute a smaller portion of the local biosphere. In the hydrosphere, the flora mimics various corals found on Earth. They are typically found in saltwater environments but can occasionally be found in freshwater, which has spawned numerous questions scientists are all too eager to answer. The planet’s fauna is extremely unique when compared to those found on Earth. Most organisms are gliders, relying on winds and sea currents to carry them. Aquatic species can be compared to Earth’s manta rays as they glide effortlessly through the open waters. They also tend to travel in massive herds, making for quite the view. The terrestrial species also rely on a form of gliding to traverse their environment. This is primarily done with the use of wing-like folds of skin that stretch between certain limbs.
Along the planet’s equator lie a unique species of insect known as Rasas, or gas-runners, that store gases within a specialized organ. They expel the gas in conjunction with their wings to propel themselves forward and glide back down to resettle. This little creature was the inspiration for the Besarian boosters. These boosters provide a quick burst of momentum either vertically or horizontally, improving upon the Besarians’ natural athleticism and agility.
As mentioned, the Besarians go to great lengths to ensure the stability of their environments. To do so, massive ecological and environmental technologies have been developed to aid in automatically monitoring conditions and rapidly responding to exponential changes. One such construct is known simply as the Eye. The Eye is a central hub that automatically designs and develops drones that are dispatched to conduct surveys and ecological repairs. The utilization of such technologies has helped maintain the biodiversity of Besaria. Some among the Besarian people hope to extend this knowledge to humanity should the Adra be defeated.
Xumer
The desert world of Xumer that orbits its yellow sun in an almost perfectly circular orbit. It is accompanied by thirteen other worlds. A single day here lasts 14.58 hours and a year lasts 247 days. The planet is made up of 2 large continents, which make up 76% of the planet’s landmass.
Three moons orbit the planet and have several outposts and spacecraft stations. The plant-like organisms on this planet are dominated by various types of grass, but they only reach short heights. Trees, bushes and shrubs thrive well outside of equatorial regions. The trees can reach incredible heights, which can make it difficult for grasses and shrubs to grow under them. Corals in the ocean are non-existent but some seagrasses are present that sway in an almost mesmerizing, but eerie, fashion. The world’s fauna includes insects, reptiles, amphibians, fish and small mammals who have all adapted to the harsh desert world. Most have evolved to have chitinous plating or exoskeletons for defensive purposes and even to store water. Given the harsh environment, humanity is hesitant to engage the Xumer armies stationed here but some resources have proven to be worth covert excursions to the desert sands
